I situate myself in the lineage of theatre dance and post-modern artistic movements and currently, I feel myself boiling inside this current as if a counter-current is watching me.
There is a fever that consumes me and forces me to review and rework the state of dance today as I see the extreme need to become more real, more daily, more religious, more practice, more intellectual, more invisible, more brutal, more detached, more cosmic, more concrete.
So I claim my body in order to participate in the history of this time. I want to have a voice and a presence and I want to give voice and presence to whoever wants it. It is everyone's right to participate in history, to participate creatively, poetically and in a non-utilitarian way.
So I claim it is time to expand the notion of humanness and to get out of this spell that traps me and forces me to be what I'm not.
So I claim this space to write what I feel, wanting to know about the things of this planet, of this living thing that flows and does not provide a more rational logic than that of the mystery to unveil.
Out of respect for the mysterious, I claim nothing, and yet I claim space to claim
everything. EVERYTHING.
